Foreign Exchange List Updated: New Currency Added
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has updated its foreign exchange trading list. The decision was published in the Official Gazette. Following the update, a new currency has been added to the Central Bank's foreign exchange list.

The circular regarding the amendment to the Decree No. 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance's Notice No. 200832/34, as well as the related Circular IM of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the published decision, the Central Bank's foreign currency buying and selling list has been updated. With this update, a new currency has been added to the list. The Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) has found its place in the foreign currency list. With the addition of the KZT, the number of currencies subject to buying and selling has risen to 23.

The US dollar, Australian dollar, Azerbaijani new manat, United Arab Emirates dirham, Bulgarian lev, Chinese yuan, Danish krone, euro, South Korean won, British pound sterling, Swedish krona, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Qatari riyal, Kazakhstani tenge, Kuwaiti dinar, Norwegian krone, Pakistani rupee, Romanian leu, Russian ruble, and Saudi Arabian riyal are all included in the Central Bank's foreign exchange list.
