According to sources from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, there are no active plans to make an additional adjustment to the minimum wage in the July period.
In line with the austerity policies that form the backbone of the economic program, the aim is to prevent wage increases from triggering general pricing behaviors in the market. While official authorities have remained silent so far, unless a legal step is taken, a new wage increase scenario will only land on the table of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which is set to convene in December. This implies that any potential increase would only reflect in paychecks as of January 2027.

Despite the various wage increase rates and new salary calculations for the minimum wage flying around on social media and digital platforms, none of these figures have an official standing. Every scenario that has not been confirmed by authorized institutions is, for now, merely speculative.
