Atiye, a relentless force of energy in Turkish pop music, has been gathering admiration not only for her long-standing success in her music career, but also for the private family life she maintains away from the public eye.
The renowned singer, who tied the knot with music director and producer Erol Sebebci in 2018, prefers to keep her marriage away from the limelight.
While the couple is blessed with three daughters, Atiye is currently counting down the days to welcome her fourth child. Approximately seven and a half months pregnant, the artist continues to take the stage without taking a break from her concerts during her pregnancy. Frequently making headlines with her visibly pregnant photos, Atiye is hailed as one of the individuals who successfully juggles motherhood and career simultaneously.
Atiye's recent concert was abruptly cut short due to an unforeseen health issue. The artist, who was preparing to perform in Kastamonu as part of the 36th International Taşköprü Culture and Garlic Festival, suddenly fell ill just before the concert.
Health teams were called in for Atiye, who suddenly felt nauseous and weak. The famous singer was rushed to Taşköprü State Hospital by ambulance, where she received immediate treatment in the emergency room and was put on an IV drip.
Her illness led to the cancellation of her festival concert, creating a buzz on social media. The audience, who had been waiting at the festival venue for a long time, expressed their frustration over the delay. In response, the Mayor of Taşköprü took to the stage to apologize to the spectators.
Despite various speculations on social media about the cancellation of the concert, Atiye quickly clarified that the incident was health-related in a statement she made shortly after.
Following the cancellation of the concert, Atiye made a statement on her social media account to clear up any misunderstandings about the situation.
In her post, the famous singer stated that she was at the concert venue and ready to perform despite her health issues, and that she experienced sudden nausea and weakness due to being 7.5 months pregnant.
Atiye, who mentioned that she had received IV treatment, announced that her health had improved quickly and expressed her desire to perform again for her fans in Taşköprü as soon as possible. The artist promised to make up for the interrupted meeting and thanked everyone who was concerned about her.
After completing her treatment, Atiye was discharged from the hospital and was caught on camera by Night Reporter Samet Aday upon her exit.
Atiye suggested that her health issue was likely food-related, stating,
'I must have eaten something that didn't agree with me. The nausea I experienced prevented me from going on stage.'
The artist also emphasized that both her own health and that of her unborn baby were fine, urging her fans not to worry.
