1. The Summer I Turned Pretty

Gabrielle Stanton and Jenny Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty is a new series grounded on Han’s excellent writing of the same title. The creators incorporated Tom E. Scott, Colin Ferguson, Minnie Mills, Alfredo Narciso, Sean Kaufman, Gavin Casalegno, Christopher Briney, Rachel Blanchard, Jackie Chung, and Lola Tung in the pivotal roles. 

The show revolves around Belly played by Lola Tung during summer at a family friend’s beach house, where she finds herself in love with two brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah. Han and Stanton make the story relatable and more romantic for young lovers.

The series follows a York couple who discover a portal in their backyard leading to a lonely purple and orange planet. They choose to keep it a secret, which becomes more difficult as the years progress. 

It even gets more complex when they discover they’re the only ones who can go through the portal. Night Sky brings out the theme of ageing, grief, and unanticipated relationships in a catchy manner, making it to your next binge-watch series.

Now we have something to crack our ribs, thanks to Amazon Prime Video’s executives for bringing the return of the classic comedy series. 

Returning in the revival are Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Scott Thompson, Kevin McDonald, and Mark McKinney, with a few guest stars like Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson, Will Forte, Brandon A. Mohammed of Capricornation, Kenan Thompson of Kenan and Kel, and Catherine O’Hara of Home Alone.

5. The Boys

After launching in 2019, The Boys shocked the superhero society with its outstanding positive reviews and critics. As per rotten tomatoes, the film garnered an 85% average audience score for its first season, with its second and third seasons taking 97%. Additionally, The Boys managed a whopping 8.7/10-star rating on IMDb. 

The three-instalment series generally follows an infamous squad of vigilantes as they face superheroes who abuse their powers. It’s grounded on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic novel of the same title. 

It stars Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, and Jack Quaid.

6. Invincible

Invincible emerged from the Image comic of the same title. The Prime Video series centers on a seventeen-year-old whose dad is an international superhero. The show combines superhero stories and teenage dramas, and the outcome was highly remarkable. 

Fans and critics have applauded Invicible’s voice cast, action sequences, and impressive animation. 

The series stars J.K Simmons, Sandra Oh, and Steven Yeun and has garnered an excellent 98% on rotten tomatoes and an 8.7/10- star rating review on IMDb. These scores boosted the show’s renewal for the second and third seasons.

This British thriller, led by Erin Doherty, is a sure attention-grabber. It follows Becky, a young lady with uncommon leisure- she assumes various identities to sneak into yoga classes and fancy galleries. Alice Seabright is the series creator.

When a woman obsessively follows on Instagram dies, Becky attempts to investigate further details, disguised as someone else. Sacrifice some time to stream this great series on Prime Video; it’s undoubtedly worth it. Other characters include Pippa B-Warner and Billy Howle. 

Chloe has garnered a 59% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.5 out of 10-star rating on IMDb.

8. Reacher

Adopted from Lee Child’s Award-winning novel series, Reacher is a Nick Santora creation with Harvey Guillén, Kristin Kreuk, Marc Bendavid, Maria Sten, Bruce McGill, Malcolm Goodwin, and Alan Ritchson in the starring roles. Chris Webster and Willa Fitzgerald are also in the show. Jack Reacher played by Alan Ritchson is the central representation of masculinity in the series. 

If you adore crime thrillers, Prime Video’s Reacher is the show for you. It has scored a whopping 91% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.1/10-star rating on IMDb. The score is enough to convince us that Reacher is a great one!
