His Dark Materials season three is finally here after two years of waiting. His Dark Materials is an adventure, mystery, and fantasy-drama TV show based on Philip Pullman's novel series of the same title. The show launched its first season in December 2019, while its successor arrived a year later. Season three will be based on Pullman's third book from the series, The Amber Spyglass, after Northern Lights and The Subtle Knife for seasons one and two.

Peacock just announced that The Real Housewives of Miami would return to our screens with its fifth installment, nearly eight months after the fourth season was completed. RHOM is a reality TV show chiefly produced by Andy Cohen and others. The series launched its first season in April 2011, followed by seasons two, three, and four in 2012, 2013, and 2021, respectively. The Real Housewives of Miami has managed a score of 3.5 out of 10 stars over the past four seasons on IMDb.

The actor, author and professor Clarence Gilyard Jr. sadly passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 66 years. The cause of death is yet to be determined, as stated by The University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Fine Arts, where Gilyard Jr. taught screen and stage acting.

Networks reported early losses, rocking what was once considered a solid market. Now investors are playing it careful, tightening their purse strings, and holding back. Some of our favorite shows have had their budgets cut, and some of what we expected to succeed flopped, either due to a lack of funding, poor planning, or problems behind the scenes. But there are plenty of gems available, and the market is still churning new things out, surprising us and wowing us at every turn.

The comedy horror series Wednesday debuted on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, to rave reviews and the highest viewership hours in a week for an English-language series ever! Stranger Things season 4 previously retained the top position, accumulating 335.5 million hours in its debut week of May 30 to June 5 2022. The mystery drama series has now been dethroned by Wednesday, which sits at 341.2 million hours ensuing its last week's premiere.

Darby and the Dead is an upcoming Hulu supernatural teen comedy starring Riele Downs and directed by Silas Howard. Supernatural movies keep the brain on high-level activity, thanks to their scary scenes and technology. Hulu has for years embraced the category, bringing viewers the best projects such as Spree, Antlers, Treehouse, Matriarch, and recently Darby and the Dead. The movie was initially named Darby Harper Wants You to Know when it started filming in South Africa. It acquired its current title in October 2022, alongside the premiere date at Hulu.

Are you into drama shows? Well, Amazon Prime Video might be your next home this holiday. The streamer just unveiled an addition to its plate of drama content with the first season of Riches, a British TV show created by Inventing Anna’s Abby Ajayi. Drama shows have a way of representing nearly everyone’s life, personality, and character on screens, as they can never run out of ideas to talk about.

Apple TV+ is back with the second season of Slow Horses seven months after the first installment was completed. Slow Horses launched its debut season in April 2022, attracting plenty of reviews and critics, revealed by an 89% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes supported by a 95% average Tomatometer and 7.7 out of 10 stars on IMDb. The first season is based on Mick Herron's book of the Slough House series, entitled Slow Horses, while its successor is adapted from the sequel Dead Lions. Apple TV+ initially ordered two seasons of Slow Horses in October 2019 before adding two more in June 2022, set to be derived from other books from the series.

Hulu just provided a first look and trailer for its upcoming dating show, Back in the Groove, starring Brooke, Steph, and Sparkle. The show will be hosted by Taye Diggs, an American actor popularly known for his incredible performance in All American, The Best Man franchise and Chicago. 

We can agree that nothing hits better than a holiday movie during the holiday season. Disney+ just knows how to combine the two, evident from its current package of holiday movies ahead of the December holiday. Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays marks the most recent addition to Disney Plus’ plate.

The Territory is a documentary film directed and produced by Alex Pritz for National Geographic and Disney Plus. The film launched on National Geographic in August 2020 before it recently acquired a Disney+ December release date. National Geographic's The Territory managed an outstanding 7.6 out of 10 stars- meaning it's worth it for Disney+ subscribers to try it.
