Since the release of Battlefield 2042, the game hasn't been doing very well in terms of gameplay as EA and DICE have noticed. Unfortunately, it was labeled as one of the 'worst reviewed' games of the year, despite the fact that fans had eagerly awaited its release.

Recently, Battlefield 2042 was announced to have a big update that will contain over 400 fixes that aims to improve the game. Also, DICE Community Manager Kevin Johnson said that there are things that will be revealed that might attract returning players to give the game another chance.

Johnson also stated that the 400 fixes included in the update are only the 'tip of the iceberg,' with more surprises in store for the players. Vehicle warfare balancing, and Rao, Paik, Ribbons will receive updates. Attachments will also be revamped to make them more impactful on loadouts.

While we await the full release of the update 4.0 patch notes, here are some information shared by Johnson.

While this information only scratches the surface, the update's unannounced additions will undoubtedly be exciting.

While EA has already admitted that the Battlefield 2042 release was a 'failure,' DICE is still trying to figure out how to bring out the full potential of the game and possibly make it even better. The game was a flop after its initial release in November 2021, and DICE is now working hard to give it a second chance.
