Ozan Kabak reflected on his initial games with Liverpool, stating, 'In my first match, the lack of coordination between Alisson and myself caused some issues, but we managed to secure a fantastic victory in the match against Leipzig just three days later. I'm actually quite proud of myself. It's not easy to muster the courage to step onto the field, even when you're not performing well.'

Describing his time at Liverpool as a 'strange period,' the national defender explained, 'I was a 20-year-old player who had transferred to a foreign country at a very young age and was under immense pressure, and Liverpool wasn't in the best shape.' Regarding Virgil Van Dijk, his idol with whom he couldn't play due to injury, he expressed, 'I wish I could have spent more time with him. However, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have gotten to know him.'

The national defender, who had a successful season at Hoffenheim, spoke about his injury period, saying, 'Actually, I'm glad I went through this process; not because of the injury, but because it brought me many things for which I am grateful. I'm now a mature man and player, I've become a stronger person.'
