GKIDS, the North American distributor for Studio Ghibli, has unveiled the English voice cast. The cast includes names such as Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Willem Dafoe, Mark Hamill, and Gemma Chan. Christian Bale (known for 'Howl's Moving Castle') takes on the role of Shoichi Maki, Robert Pattinson is the voice behind the Grey Heron, Florence Pugh portrays Kiriko, Dave Bautista becomes the Parakeet King, Willem Dafoe lends his voice to the Noble Pelican, Karen Fukuhara is Lady Himi, Mark Hamill (from 'Castle in the Sky' and 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind') is the Great Uncle, and Gemma Chan voices Natsuko. Luca Padovan will voice Mahito Maki, and Dan Stevens, Tony Revolori, and Mamoudou Athie will voice the Lovebirds.
