Statement on Violence in TV Series from an Eşref Rüya Actor

The majority of viewers have expressed their concerns that these scenes in local series are encouraging violence. It has been indicated that improvements will be made in the scripts of the series. It was announced that scenes of violence in series such as Yeraltı, Eşref Rüya, and Uzak Şehir will be handled more carefully. Tolga Tekin, who plays Müslüm in Eşref Rüya, made a statement.
In response to the allegation that local series are encouraging violence, Tolga Tekin said, 'There is no connection between the incidents that have occurred and the series. When it happens in our country, it's considered a bad series, but when it happens in foreign series, it's considered a good series... Do they want us, Eşref, Gürdal, Faruk, and Müslüm, to hold hands, go to the park, eat bagels, and swing on the swings?'
