This adorable pet, known for its prowess in solving brain teasers, has started creating small watercolor paintings by picking up a brush, thanks to the commands taught by its owner.
This talent was first noticed by Alexandra Greenwood during her university years when she was studying, and it blossomed when Cheesecake started grabbing pens and brushes from the table and running off with them. Greenwood chose to teach her little friend how to paint with watercolors due to their harmless and odorless nature. When Cheesecake started developing unique techniques by striking the brushes against the paper, special brush sets were purchased for her.
Greenwood, who put the paintings on a platform for sale at 5 pounds (approximately 320 TL) with the aim of making the guinea pig "earn its own pocket money" and bringing a smile to people's faces, was taken aback by the interest she received.
After her posts went viral in Facebook groups, Greenwood started receiving more than 20 messages a day, stating that every painting she uploaded to the platform sold out within a minute.
The tiny artist's works became not only the choice of collectors, but also those who wanted to uplift their loved ones. A painting ordered by a buyer for a relative in the hospital, along with a video of Cheesecake painting, brought smiles to both the patient and the hospital staff. Greenwood expressed great pride in these small gestures bringing joy to people.
Prioritizing Cheesecake's health and enjoyment, Greenwood allows his adorable companion to paint a picture only every few days, ensuring not to exhaust him.
This situation leads to a hot demand for the pictures, resulting in a lengthy waiting list of buyers. The revenue generated from the sales, in turn, is invested back into new toys and favorite treats for Cheesecake.
