The second part of Ozark’s final fourth season aired on Netflix on April 29th, 2020, just a few months after the first part. Showrunner Chris Mundy returned to solid teleplays for the first and last episodes, keeping things in line with a tone that felt sad to be gone after he wrote all the previous premiere and finale episodes (aside from the pilot). Though the second half was certainly far less thrilling than the first, fans will definitely feel the sense of ending and satisfaction that the rest of the series set up. For those who are behind, you can watch the entire show now!

Critics on ‘Ozark’ Season 4

Season 4 boasts strong directors, including actress Robin Wright, cinematographer Alik Sakharov, and Ozark leads Linney and Bateman. Overall, the final set of episodes is not quite as gripping or daring as the exceptional Season 3, but the fans who have stuck around since the beginning should feel content with how everything settles. It's far from perfect, but the way it cuts ties will leave audiences with a reminder of the show's greatness at times.
