It appears that more Uncharted games will be coming to the PlayStation 5 in the future. A Naughty Dog recruiter has recently leaked what appears to be future Uncharted titles that the studio is currently working on.
According to a LinkedIn post by a Naughty Dog recruiter named Christina-Marie Drake McBrearty, she joined Naughty Dog to be a recruiter that will help bring a new team of developers to help with the growth of the Uncharted franchise.
McBrearty also stated that the gaming studio is currently hiring potential employees to assist with future game projects, implying that the studio is definitely planning new Last of Us or Uncharted titles.
'This opportunity will allow me to better fuse my talents and experience with HR operations, business strategy and recruiting with my passion for video games and entertainment. It's even more special being able to be building future teams for not only new titles but for the legacy of Uncharted which is very personal and specific to me and my family,' she said in her post.
Naughty Dog hasn’t been focusing on the Uncharted series’ mainline for years now. McBrearty already hinted that they could be working on upcoming Uncharted titles, but it seems more likely that the studio will be focused more on The Last of Us or even new titles we never anticipated to arrive.
Fortunately, McBrearty is already in the process of bringing in new developers to solely focus on future Uncharted titles in order to get the popular franchise's mainline entry back on track.
Even though Naughty Dog hasn't prioritized the Uncharted franchise, there's a good chance that they will reconsider after the most recent Uncharted film was such a box office success.
