Netflix Reveals the Cast List and Trailer for Turkish Series ‘Hot Skull’ Season One
If you’re into adventure shows, then Netflix should be your new home for this upcoming holiday. The streaming platform recently unveiled an addition to the category with Hot Skull season one.
Hot Skull is based on Afşin Kum’s book of the same title, published in 2016. Like any other novel-to-TV show adaptation, Hot Skull appears to have promising advancements from its mother source.
What’s ‘Hot Skull’ Season One About?
Set in a dystopian world, Hot Skull follows a plague that significantly affects its people. The plague (a disease) is transmitted among those living in the world through communication by speech.
Only a few people are safe from the plague, including Murat Siyavus, an ex-linguist who temporarily chose to stay at his mom’s house. Those who weren’t infected by the disease are forced to move around with headphones while trying to help the rest of the world.

Hot Skull is created by Mert Baykal, who also helmed the series alongside Müjgan Ferhan, Gökhan Şeker, and Zafer Külünk.
Timur Savci produced the show with Fatih Tekşal and Şeyba Tüysüzoğlu as chief producers.
Who Casts ‘Hot Skull’ Season One?
The above team incorporate several talented characters, including Hazal Subaşı (Sule), Osman Sonant (Murat Siyavus), Ӧzgür Emre Yıldırım, Kubilay Tunçer, Tilbe Saran, and Şevket Çoruh (Anton).
Other characters include Furkan Kalabilık, Arda Anarat, Barış Yıldız, Erdem Akakçe, Hakan Gerçek, and Yetkin Dikinciler. Zerrrin Sümer and Gonca Vuslateri also appear in the show.

Season one of Hot Skull officially launches on Friday, December 2nd. The season will land as an eight-episode show on Netflix.
