Netflix India recently shared the official teaser and trailer for its forthcoming spy thriller, Mission Majnu, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Sidharth Malhotra. Mission Majnu was announced in December 2020, starting filming in February 2021 to September 2021.
The movie was probably delayed for TV streaming since it was first set for a theatrical launch in May 2022. Unfortunately, the theatrical release failed to happen, and the film was given a January 2022 release date on Netflix.
‘Mission Majnu’ Plot
Mission Majnu is a Hindi-language film following Amandeep Singh, a Research and Analysis Wing field agent, who is sent on a covert operation to examine Pakistan’s participation in nuclear weapons production.
In Pakistan, Amandeep must balance his personal and professional life alongside his newly-found girlfriend, Nasreen.

Netflix India dropped the official trailer for Mission Majnu a week ago via its YouTube Channel. In 2 minutes and 28 seconds, the trailer glimpses at Pakistan’s illegal production of massive nuclear weapons.
Amandeep sets on a mission to find the nuclear factory with top-notch intelligence. The trailer presents Amandeep as India’s last hope while battling his love life and the undercover assignment.
Who Produces ‘Mission Majnu’?
Mission Majnu is written by Aseem Arrora, Parveez Shaikh, and Sumit Batheja as an inspiration for actual life events, alongside producers Garima Mehta, Amar Butala, and Ronnie Screwvala.
The film is a co-project of Guilty By Association Media LLP and RSVP Movies, with director Shantanu Bagchi and Ketan Sodha on the music desk.
