‘Metal Lords’ Release Date, Trailer, Storyline, And Cast
David Benioff and D. B. Weiss are the creators of Game of Thrones. B. Weiss and Netflix have teamed up once more to develop 'Metal Lords.'
This film is part of a multi-year film and TV contract with the streaming service that was struck in 2019. D.B. Peter Sollett is set to helm the film, which was written by Weiss.
‘Metal Lords’ Release Date
The film was included in the 2022 film slate, and it was announced in March 2022 that 'Metal Lords' would be available on Netflix worldwide on April 8th, 2022.

The official trailer for the upcoming film was released on March 10 via Netflix. The first-look video depicts the band's formation and journey to the Battle of the Bands. In the video below, you can see the thrilling new trailer!
‘Metal Lords’ Storyline
Two kids want to start a heavy metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about heavy metal. They try to find a bass player, and fail but they do find a girl who is very good at cello. If the three of them can't settle their differences and work together, they're never going to win the Battle of the Bands.
‘Metal Lords’ Cast
Elisha Henig (American Vandal, The Sinner), Oakes Fegley (Pete's Dragon, Person of Interest), and Isis Hainsworth were first considered for the three principal roles. However, we've now learned that, at the very least, Elisha and Oakes did not get the parts while they were negotiating, and it's unclear whether Isis was cast.
Jaeden Martell (Knives Out, Defending Jacob), newcomer Adrian Greensmith, and Isis Hainsworth were named as the three primary leads for Metal Lords in February 2021. Hainsworth did, in fact, receive the part, as we had previously reported.

‘Metal Lords’ was written by D. Benioff and produced by David Benioff. Weiss, B. The feature's production firm is Bighead Littlehead. Greg Shapiro, who is best recognized for his work on The Hurt Locker, is also a producer on the project. Peter Sollett, the winner of the Cinefondation Award at the Cannes Film Festival, is poised to direct.
