When the residents were unable to reach B.A., they realized they had been swindled and promptly reported the matter to the police. It is estimated that the residents were defrauded of approximately 50 million lira, and the police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
Upon inspection, no jewelry was found at the premises. It is believed that the jeweler, under the guise of a profit share, has taken an estimated 50 million lira in cash and valuables from the residents.
