‘The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure’ is a period adventure film directed by Kim Jeong-hoon and starring Kang Ha-neul and Han Hyo-joo that was released in 2022 in South Korea.
The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 film The Pirates, and it tells the story of pirates who meet at sea to search for royal jewels that have vanished without a trace. On January 26, 2022, it was released in IMAX format, coinciding with the Korean New Year holiday.

On February 23, it was announced that the film will be released globally via the streaming platform, Netflix on March 2, 2022. This action adventure genre film will have a runtime of 126 minutes.

The film was supposed to be released during the Chuseok festival vacations in 2021, however it was postponed because of South Korea's COVID-19. It was announced on October 29, 2021, that it would be released in theaters around the Korean New Year holiday of 2022. On January 26, 2022, the film was released in IMAX format. It was also released in 3 theaters on January 21 in 4DX, Superflex G, Superflex, Super 4D, and Dolby Atmos formats.
On the 11th day of its release in 2022, it became the first Korean film to reach one million viewers at the box office. It is now ranked first among all Korean films released in 2022, with a gross of US$10.29 million and 1.32 million admissions as of March 1, 2022.
