The Hercai Turkish series is based on the novel of the same name written by Sumeyye Ezel. The story revolves around Miran Aslanbey, portrayed by Akin Akinozu, a young and successful businessman who has harbored deep anger and vengeance towards the Sadoglu family since they were responsible for the death of his parents. Raised by his grandmother, Azize (Ayda Aksel), Miran comes to Midyat with a plan to take revenge.
To execute his revenge, Miran begins doing business with the wealthy Sadoglu family, earning their trust and becoming their business partner. His ultimate goal is to marry a Sadoglu girl, dishonor her, and bring the family to its knees. Through an unexpected encounter, Miran meets Reyyan, played by Ebru Sahin, the daughter of his mortal enemy, Hazar Sadoglu (Serhat Tutumluer). Reyyan is a young, innocent, and pure-hearted girl who faces mistreatment within her own family.
Miran seizes the opportunity and proposes marriage to Reyyan, seeking permission from the Sadoglu family. Although Reyyan initially feels reluctant, she eventually accepts the decision due to family pressure. As Reyyan and Miran get married, their relationship takes unexpected turns. Reyyan falls in love with Miran, unaware of his vengeance plan, while Miran finds himself drawn to Reyyan's genuine nature, conflicting with his original intentions.
The Hercai series portrays an impossible love story between Miran and Reyyan, destined to face obstacles and separation due to the vengeance plan. Will Reyyan uncover Miran's true intentions before it's too late? Can Miran let go of his past and find peace? Will his vengeance plan be successful? How will Reyyan react when she discovers the truth about Miran? Alongside these questions, the series delves into the mystery surrounding the death of Miran's parents, adding further intrigue to the narrative.
