'We regularly test features to help customers identify trusted businesses online, and we are currently running a small trial where verification checkmarks appear next to certain businesses on Google.' It is unclear whether this new verification feature will be applied to not just commercial sites but also regular ones. It is expected to be helpful for users dissatisfied with Google Search.
Additionally, this feature may be integrated into Gmail, allowing verified users' emails to display this mark.
However, Google has not yet shared any future plans regarding this tool.
