So, why does the body react in such a way?
The reaction seen in the video is actually a natural defense mechanism of the skin following a tattoo. The individual in the video has opted for a style known as 'Blackwork' or 'Heavy Blackout', which involves filling in large areas with dense black ink. When the tattoo needle continually strikes the same spot or a large area, nerve endings get excessively stimulated. In response to this relentless pain signal, the body initiates a sort of 'short circuit', causing muscles to twitch involuntarily. This is the underlying reason for the reaction observed.
