Fitness Creator Demonstrates Home Resistance Band Alternatives to Gym Machines
We all have those days when we can't make it to the gym due to a hectic work schedule, long distances, or simply a lack of motivation. In fact, many of us don't even have the time to go to the gym. As a result, giving up on exercise entirely often seems like the easiest option for most of us. However, there are home-based equivalents for many gym exercises that are just as effective.
A user named 'kjuuunh' demonstrated how the same workout can be done using gym equipment and how it can be replicated at home with a resistance band. The step-by-step guide to the home versions of exercises that work the lateral deltoids, back, and legs received high praise from viewers.

So, does working out with a resistance band really work?
At first glance, training with bands might seem less effective compared to lifting weights in the gym, but scientific data doesn't necessarily support this assumption. A review published in SAGE Open Medicine in 2019, which compiled eight randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in upper and lower body strength gains between training with elastic resistance and traditional equipment like machines and dumbbells. Moreover, resistance bands are inexpensive, lightweight, and easily fit into any bag. This makes it possible to work out while traveling, at the office, or in any corner of your home. In other words, there's no longer a valid excuse to skip a workout on a day when you can't make it to the gym. Being consistent is far more important than the cost of the equipment.
