Everything to Know About Netflix’s Bittersweet Romance Spanish Film ‘Burning Patience’

The movie is an adaptation of Antonio Skármeta’s play of the same title, published in 1982.

Burning Patience combines drama and poetry to tell the story of Mario, a young man working as a carrier at Pablo Neruda’s mail while practising fishing. When Pablo Neruda suffers an exile from Chile, Mario is forced to dig deeper into his poetic desires.
His new job was aspired by his long-lived desire to attract the woman of his dreams while satisfying his talent. The movie creates constant poetic attention for its viewers but with a lighter tone and different locations.
