Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, "Doctor Who" continues to be one of the most iconic productions in television history.

Following Jodie Whittaker's departure as the 13th Doctor after the 13th season, David Tennant returned to the series briefly with a three-episode special transition.

In the Christmas special, Tennant passed the sonic screwdriver to Ncuti Gatwa as the 15th Doctor.

Innovations are not only happening on-screen but also behind the scenes. Russell T Davies returned as the head writer of Doctor Who.

Additionally, BBC's global broadcasting deal with Disney Plus has allowed Disney to play a more active role in the production of the series.
