Culinary Tour: Content Creator Earns High Praise After Cooking Full Turkish Menu
Every country has its own unique palate and culinary culture. A nation's cuisine provides insight into various aspects of the country, from its history and lifestyle to its geography and people. Therefore, everyone agrees that their country's cuisine should be represented in the best possible way.
An amateur chef, who prepares dishes from a different country for her boyfriend every day, landed on Turkey on the world map on the fifth day of her series. The content creator, unable to hide her love and excitement for Turkish cuisine, shared the comprehensive Turkish meal menu she prepared with her followers. The amateur chef kicked off his culinary endeavor with a crispy baklava dessert, meticulously prepared with pistachios. He then moved on to the main course, marinating chicken wings, specially seasoned meats, and a rich blend of spices with great precision. Alongside the main dishes, a warm dough for a traditional Turkish bread, known as 'tırnak pide', was kneaded, sprinkled with black seeds, and baked in the oven. To round off the table, a delicious salad made from freshly chopped vegetables, known as 'ezme', and various sauces were prepared.
After all the barbecue varieties were grilled on the balcony, they were presented on a magnificent tray, accompanied by bulgur pilaf, french fries, freshly baked pide, and fresh salad. The sheer amount of meat on the table and the grandeur of the feast left her boyfriend unable to hide his astonishment. He sampled the barbecue flavors and the pistachio baklava that was served afterwards with great relish. This sharing, which successfully reflected the richness and hospitality of Turkish cuisine at home, received hundreds of likes and appreciative messages from social media users in a short time. Although in such content, the menu is often found to be incomplete or incorrect, many people argued that someone had accurately represented Turkish cuisine for the first time.
