‘Community’ Alums Gillian Jacobs & Joel McHale Reunite for Anthology Film ‘The Seven Faces of Jane’

The anthology film The Seven Faces of Jane is here to enforce that we evolve daily.

Who we were yesterday or a few hours ago might be different from what we are now. Essentially, life events mold and shape us in several ways.

The Seven Faces of Jane is an eerie nostalgic project that sees the titular character, played by Gillian Jacobs, wrapped in a series of surreal life-changing events. 

Jane’s story is narrated through the perspective of eight storytellers, who have different opinions of what could or should have become of Jane. 

The film’s trailer chronicles the dazzling experience to come for fans of anthology films.

Apart from Jacobs, the following amazing stars lend their talents to the film- Emanuela Postacchini as Valentina, Anthony Skordi as Pinky, Leticia LaBelle as Mom, Benjamin Hjelm as Cemetery John, Chido Nwokocha as Tayo, Joel McHale as Michael, Lupe Carranza as Sepriana, Angelina Capozzoli as Young Jane, Sybil Azur as Sybil and Kamori Clark- McGeoy as Young Sybil.

Jacobs and McHale get to work together again after their joyous time in the sitcom Community (2009-2015). And they'll take to the screen once more in the highly anticipated Community movie set to premiere next year.

The Seven Faces of Jane resonates with directors Ken Jeong, Gillian Jacobs, Alexandra Cassavetes, Julian Acosta, Boma Iluma, Gia Coppola, Alex Takacs and Ryan Heffington. 

It is produced by Allison Amon, Gia Coppola, Luke Ricci, Roman Coppola, Jason Baum and Sarah Park for Super Fab production company.

The anthology film debuted on June 22, 2022, at the Bentonville Festival and will make a limited cinematic debut on January 13, 2023. 

So far, the film has an impressive score of 7.3/10 on IMDb and is reviewed as beautiful, imaginative and intriguing by one fan.
