Ceren Karakoç Reveals How A Phone Call Brought Her Back To Kızılcık Şerbeti
Ceren Karakoç, who has returned to Kızılcık Şerbeti as Nursema, has explained for the first time how the comeback happened. Speaking on Oksijen TV's YouTube channel, the actress said it all started with a phone call from producer Faruk Turgut. She did not answer the offer right away: she took a night to think and said 'okay' the next day.

Nursema's comeback has been talked about for weeks, and Ceren Karakoç has now told the story herself. 'A call came from dear Faruk Turgut, our producer. 'Ceren, can we meet?' he asked, so I went,' she said, adding that she had no idea what she was walking into.
She Expected A New Project
Ceren Karakoç said she had not considered a return at all and first assumed the producer might have a new project. Instead, Faruk Turgut asked her to come back to Kızılcık Şerbeti. Describing her surprise, she recalled blurting out an involuntary 'What?'
Ceren Karakoç took a night to think about the offer and said yes the next day.
According to Ceren Karakoç, Faruk Turgut walked her through the process and told her, 'I want you to come back.' She did not rush. 'Mr. Faruk, I can't decide this right now. I need to sleep on everything for a night,' she remembered saying, and the producer agreed. They sat down again the next day. 'Then I said 'okay', and honestly, I came back,' she said.
She Also Learned Of Her Exit By Phone
The comments take on extra meaning alongside the story of her departure. On Ayşe Arman's program, Ceren Karakoç had said that she reached an agreement with the producer for the new season, then learned she was out of the show from a phone call while on vacation.
She played Nursema for four seasons, from the first episode on October 28, 2022. Shortly after her exit, the writing team changed as well: Melis Civelek and Zeynep Gür were replaced by Ozan Yurdakul, Meryem Gür, Burcu Över and Caner Güler. News of Nursema's return followed that change.
