Science fiction movies are gradually becoming reality. Flying cars are slowly making their way into our lives, and we are set to use flying taxis first. The UAE is planned to be the first country to utilize these air taxis. Currently, there are two different companies preparing to operate in Dubai.

A local technology company, in partnership with the Chinese manufacturer EHang and Cluster 2 Airports, is expected to launch autonomous air vehicles in the near future, marking the world's first use of flying taxi services. Under the agreement, EHang's autonomous aircraft will operate at 22 airports managed by Cluster 2. With the introduction of air taxis, travel times are anticipated to be more than halved.

Another company gearing up to operate in Dubai is the US-based Joby Aviation.
