‘Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation’ – A Hybrid Anime Musical Special: Release Date And Everything We Know So Far

‘Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation’ is a hybrid anime and live-action feature-length story that is inspired by the music of Japanese rock/pop singer-songwriter Eve.

The film will be getting a limited theatrical release in Japan on March 15 along with a release internationally on the same day via Netflix.

‘Adam By Eve A Live In Animation’ Season 1, described as a ‘mysterious tale told through a blend of live-action, 3DCG and 2D animation,’ is all set to release on 15 March 2022.

‘Adam By Eve A Live In Animation’ Season 1 Details

‘Adam by Eve’ is broken up into three different parts based on different songs by Eve, each with its own director and animation company behind them.

‘Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation’ will highlight two new songs from Japanese artist Eve, titled “Bouto” and “Taikutsu wo Saienshinaide” respectively. The “Bouto” segment is produced by Studio Khara and helmed by Hibiki Yoshizaki (“Me!Me!Me!” music video), while “Taikutsu wo Saienshinaide” is directed by Waboku (“Sion” music video).

Moreover, “Kaikai Kitan,” the outset for Jiu Jitsu Kaisen, will be featured in ‘Adam by Eve: A Live in Animation’ as well, with the music video’s director Yuichirou Saeki helming the segment and khaki credited for the visual effects. Nobutaka Yoda (Makafushigi) is the director and scriptwriter for the overall project.

‘Adam By Eve A Live In Animation’ Season 1 Storyline

Netflix describes the story as:

Aki, a high school student, enters a weird realm created by the enigmatic entity 'Hitotsume-sama' in quest of her buddy Taki, who has mysteriously vanished in front of her eyes. She finds a fictional Shibuya area that is neither dream nor reality, guided by Taki's voice. But what exactly is there?
