Activist Greta Thunberg Condemns World’s Silence Regarding Donald Trump’s Policies
Renowned activist Greta Thunberg frequently distinguishes herself with her demonstrations across the globe. Known for her support of Palestine and her participation in the Sumud Fleet, Thunberg has recently voiced her criticism in her latest video, addressing Donald Trump's threats towards Iran and the world's silent acceptance of these threats.
Thunberg made the following remarks.
'The President of the United States has just declared that an entire civilization will vanish tonight, never to return. Yet, no one seems to react. He speaks for himself. At this point, who is doing what? We've normalized genocide, the complete annihilation of all peoples, the systematic destruction of the biosphere we all rely on for survival. Meanwhile, corrupt, racist war criminals can operate with total impunity. Even though we may have allowed too much to pass until now, it's not too late to say 'enough'. If we don't, we should refrain from calling ourselves human.'
The President of the United States had issued a threat to obliterate Iran.
President Trump had stated, 'Tonight, an entire civilization will cease to exist and will never be revived. I don't want this to happen, but it's likely to occur.'
