A 4.46-Square-Meter Home That Includes a Bed and Toilet
Tiny house projects usually stand out with their small living spaces, but this model developed by Canada-based Tiny Tiny Homes takes minimalism to a whole new level. The structure, which is only 48 sq ft or approximately 4.46 square meters in size, is designed as a temporary emergency accommodation for individuals facing housing issues.
The mini house, built on a single-axle trailer, is reported to be approximately 1.8 meters in length.
Its wheeled structure allows for easy transportation.

Constructed with highly insulated metal panels on its exterior, the house is designed to withstand the cold weather conditions of Canada. It also features a small entrance platform on the front that can be folded up for ease of transport.
It includes a bed, storage space, and a heater.
The tiny house comprises a single multi-purpose living space. This area features a divan that can be used as a bed, a storage section beneath the divan, a lengthy storage unit, a skylight, and an electric heater.
In this smallest model, a window-type air conditioner can be added if desired, but it lacks a kitchen or bathroom. Consequently, this structure stands out more as a secure temporary shelter that meets basic needs, rather than a fully equipped standalone home.
Not a permanent home, but an emergency shelter alternative.
These mini homes, measuring 4.46 square meters, have been designed to be used in transitional housing projects, where supportive spaces like communal kitchens and bathrooms are available. In other words, the aim is not so much to create permanent housing for the homeless, but rather to provide a temporary space that is safer and more sheltered than a tent.
Two units of this small model by Tiny Tiny Homes have been delivered to the Seeds of Hope Farm Project, a transitional housing project in Toronto. The company also offers a larger model of approximately 8.9 square meters or 96 square feet; this version allocates more space for a work desk and a small kitchen area.
