‘40-Love’ is a romance-comedy movie directed by Fred Wolf who also wrote the story together with Michael Buechler. It follows Beek, a 22 year-old statistics wiz, believes his Moneyball-esque skills can help rising tennis star Lois Kuzenkova win the U.S. Open.

‘40-Love’ Release Date

‘40-Love’ is coming to Netflix in the United States (and other regions) on May 1st, 2022. As previously stated, the film will be released on Netflix in the United States and maybe other select regions on May 1st, 2022 as an SVOD debut.

What is an SVOD debut, exactly? It indicates that this is the first time a film has been released on a subscription streaming service. It was probably released in cinemas or as a VOD (video-on-demand service like Google Play or Amazon), but not as part of a subscription.

‘40-Love’ Storyline

Beek, a 22-year-old statistics whiz, embarks on a cross-country road journey to New York City in the hopes of persuading one of the world's finest tennis stars that he can assist her in defeating her most difficult opponent in the next championship competition. This road trip/romantic comedy chronicles Beek's escapades on his way to and in the big city, as he learns for the first time in his life how to draw outside the lines.
