Will Gram Gold Surge to 8,000 Liras? Analyst Speaks!
The gold prices, which have been on a downward trend for a long time, have started to fluctuate again. The heated developments in the Middle East, statements from leaders, and the suppression process in ounce gold directly determine the pricing. Financial analyst Islam Memiş revealed the 8,000 TL scenario in gram gold, issuing warnings to investors.

Why did gold prices rise?
The recent uptick in gold and silver prices can be attributed to a slight easing of war tensions in the region. Statements from the US and a decline in oil prices have allowed the markets to breathe a sigh of relief. Amid a drop in the dollar index, gold per ounce in international markets climbed to $4,300, while the price of gold per gram soared to 6,580 lira.
Evaluating the latest market volatility, Islam Memiş pointed out that we have been facing a gold market under pressure for approximately six months. Emphasizing that the war environment is a key factor, Memiş stated that the market has experienced an upward reaction as tensions slightly subsided.
A solid ceasefire is essential for the sustained rise of gold.
Memiş, who approaches the question of whether this market volatility will become a permanent trend with caution, stated that it's still too early to talk about a clear upward trend. The analyst, highlighting the need for a tangible agreement or ceasefire decision on the table for a sustainable climb in gold prices, noted that as long as the state of war continues, the pressure on the market will persist as well.
Islam Memis made a statement: Will gram gold reach 8,000 TL?
Islam Memiş explained the scenario of gold reaching 8,000 TL with these words:
'We will consider two possibilities, as uncertainty continues. These two scenarios, what happens if the war continues and what happens if it ends, are crucial for global markets. If the war continues, the level of $4,000 serves as a strong support level, or the level of $3,950.
However, if a ceasefire or an agreement is reached, the possibility of breaking above the $4,400 level becomes strong. The way to the $5,000 level could be opened again by the end of the year. On the gram side, if the war continues, the 6,000 lira level serves as a support level. If an agreement or ceasefire is reached, a rise above the 8,000 lira level would be seen as a normal increase by the end of the year.'
The biggest mistake an investor makes is in gold.
On the other hand, Islam Memis identified the biggest mistake investors make with the following words:
'Small investors are somewhat more eager, anticipating profits from their investments every year. This is a misconception. Investors who establish a long-term strategy and focus on quantity rather than price do not suffer losses. The main reason for their losses is, for example, last year, throughout 2025, it had set a record each month for twelve months.
They are always expecting this record to continue. They never anticipate any corrections. The market is a technical one, a market of manipulation. Therefore, such moves are misguided. People's failure to diversify their savings and establish a long-term strategy are erroneous actions. We have been warning about these for years, but unfortunately, most people do not implement them. They do this with the dream of 'I will buy, how quickly will I become rich'. Those who sell their houses, their cars... These are very wrong things.'
