Where is Antalya Airport?

Antalya Airport is located approximately 13 kilometres east of the city centre, within the boundaries of the Muratpaşa district. It stands out for its proximity to tourist centres such as Konyaaltı, Lara and Kaleiçi. It is strategically located on the D400 Highway, Antalya's main east-west transport axis. This makes it easy to reach both the city centre and other tourist destinations such as Manavgat, Alanya and Kemer.
Brief History and General Information

The foundation of Antalya Airport was laid in the 1960s, and it first opened to civilian air traffic in 1960. However, due to the increasing number of tourists, the existing structure became insufficient, so a new international terminal was built in 1996. The domestic terminal was renovated in 2009, and with the opening of the third terminal in 2011, the capacity was significantly increased. Today, the airport serves over 35 million passengers annually.
The airport is operated by DHMİ (State Airports Authority), while terminal operations are managed by the Fraport TAV Antalya Airport Joint Venture. During the summer season, hundreds of charter flights from Europe and Russia land here.
Terminals and Passenger Capacity

There are three main terminals at Antalya Airport:
Terminal 1: International flights
Terminal 2: Seasonal and charter international flights (especially active during the summer months)
Domestic Terminal: Serves flights to and from cities within Turkey
There is also a separate General Aviation Terminal for private jets and VIP flights.
