Skyrim is said to be Bethesda's most popular game, surpassing sibling titles such as Oblivion and Morrowind. Since its initial release in 2011, the game has been extremely popular. Skyrim is still as famous as ever, with dozens of people still purchasing and playing the game up to this day. The game’s ever-active modding community is one of the factors that keeps the game as popular as it has always been.

Todd Howard, Bethesda's executive producer, has promised that their upcoming game, Elder Scrolls 6, will be a much bigger and more successful title than Skyrim, according to Hard Drive. He also stated that the game will have more DLCs and be released more frequently than Skyrim. This is exactly what he said.

“We understand that with Elder Scrolls 6, we need to get even bigger than we did with Skyrim. That’s why we are vowing that, by the end of 2030, we will have released at least ten different iterations of the game.”

“We’re talking HD updates, remasters, DLC packages, next gen upgrades, and more. We know what you want and we hear you. That’s why we’re promising to not include fishing in Elder Scrolls 6 so that we can release a version that does have fishing several years after the original. Elder Scrolls 6  will be unlike anything you’ve played before, and that’s why we want to make sure you have the chance to purchase it dozens of times.”

The release date of Elder Scrolls 6 has yet to be officially announced. However, Starfield, another upcoming Bethesda title, will be released before Elder Scrolls 6. It's possible that we'll learn more about Elder Scrolls 6 after the release of Starfield.
