Variety reports that the drama will follow the story of a champion bull rider, played by McGraw, who faces a life-altering crossroads. The emergence of a fearless young rider challenges his established ways and uncovers long-buried secrets, forcing him to confront his past.
Creative Team Behind the Series
The series, produced by Skydance Television, was announced during Netflix’s upfront presentation to advertisers on May 15. Brandon Camp, known for the 2018 film Benji, will serve as the creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner. Taylor Elmore, famed for his work on Justified, will also be co-showrunner and executive producer.
The series will also feature executive producers Joel Bergvall, Brian Kaplan, and Tim Staples for Down Home, alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television.
