THY Announces Daily Istanbul-Yerevan Direct Flights from March 2026
Another significant stride has been made in the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia. It has been announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will commence direct flights between Istanbul and Yerevan, starting from March 11, 2026. These flights are anticipated to boost air traffic between the two countries, thereby strengthening commercial, tourist, and cultural relations.
The development was announced by former Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, the Special Representative for the Turkey-Armenia Normalization Process.

Kılıç X shared on his account, 'Another step forward. This time, our flag carrier, Turkish Airlines, will commence daily flights between Istanbul and Yerevan starting from March 11, 2026.'
The details of the journey are as follows;

Starting (as of March 11, 2026): There will be seven flights per week (daily round trips).
In the winter schedule, flights TK358 (Istanbul → Yerevan) and TK359 (Yerevan → Istanbul) will be utilized.
As of May 14, 2026: The number of weekly flights will be increased to 10.
Beginning from June 15, 2026 (Summer schedule): The weekly flight count will be boosted to 14 (two flights per day).
During this period, additional flights TK360 and TK361 will be introduced to enhance the frequency.
