Summer Series and the World Cup Race Continue: Big Shake-up in the Weekly Most-Watched Channels Rankings
The 2025-2026 season has come to a close. As the summer series, 'Daha 17', 'Doğanın Kanunu', 'Muhtemel Aşk', and 'Altı Üstü İstanbul', made their debut, the ratings underwent fluctuations, partly due to the influence of the World Cup. Alterations at the peak of the weekly ratings were also observed during the week the Survivor finale was broadcasted.
With the conclusion of regular series and the commencement of summer ones, there have been shifts at the top.
In the ratings dominated by World Cup matches, Survivor was among the shows that made a significant impact last week. Throughout the week, as Survivor steadily advanced towards the finale, it boosted TV8 to second place.
The ongoing group matches of the World Cup, from which Turkey was eliminated early, have ensured TRT 1's top spot.
With series like 'Only 17', 'Probable Love', 'Istanbul Upside Down', and 'Law of Nature' making waves, daytime programming also made its mark. TRT 1 took the lead, followed by TV8 in second place, Atv in third, Kanal D in fourth, Show TV in fifth, Star TV at sixth and NOW TV trailing at seventh. Both Kanal D and NOW TV experienced significant losses in ratings.
