Social Media Creator Shows the Interior of a $1 House in Italy! Is It a Dream or a Total Nightmare?
As you may be aware, in recent years, some countries have embarked on intriguing initiatives aimed at revitalizing rural life. The idea of becoming a homeowner in one of the world's most beautiful countries for just 1 Euro might sound surreal, yet it's a reality in some small towns in Italy.

Is it sensible to purchase a house from these campaigns, designed to rejuvenate village life in countries such as Switzerland and Italy?
Italy's initiative to revive its abandoned towns, dubbed as the '1 Euro Homes' project, might sound like a romantic Italian dream. However, it's more of a restoration commitment than a simple real estate purchase. The 1 Euro is merely the 'turnkey' price. The real bill starts rolling in after you get the deed. Basic structural repairs, including water and electricity installations, will cost at least between 20,000 € and 30,000 €. With the renovation of the roof, flooring, and the use of materials suitable for the historical texture, this figure can easily rise to between 50,000 € and 100,000 €.
In Italy, the cost of construction materials and labor has significantly increased in recent years. Moreover, the location of the house, often in a hilly village with narrow streets, adds to the logistical expenses, inflating the budget further.
