Can helium-filled balloons truly enable a person to fly?
Helium gas possesses a significantly lower density compared to the air we breathe. This difference in density gives rise to the lifting force, enabling a single standard-sized helium balloon to carry approximately 14 grams of weight upwards. At first glance, this amount may seem minuscule and harmless. However, when hundreds of gigantic balloons are combined, the calculated total lifting force can reach tens of kilograms. If the person holding the balloons is lightweight, this force, combined with the direction of the wind, is more than enough to disrupt a person's balance, even lifting them several meters into the air. In fact, some content creators in the past have experimented with this phenomenon, using professional equipment and safety ropes, and some have even been successful.
