‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 2 Announces its Release Date

Steve Martin and Martin Short sure make magic since their pairing in 1991's Father of the Bride and its 1995 sequel. Joined by the pop star and actress Selena Gomez, the trio extend their stay at Arconia despite all the mysterious murders.

The successful comedy hit series Only Murders in The Building sees Martin, Short and Gomez, true-crime investigators launching a podcast looking into a murder in their Upper West Side residence. Their investigation gets them caught in the middle of unexpected crime ties.

Who Will Be in the Cast of Season 2?

The dynamic trio will reprise their role in the 2nd season; Martin as Charles-Haden Savage, Short as Oliver as Putnam and Gomez as Mabel Mora. On December 1 last year, the show announced that the model/actress Cara Delevingne would be joining the cast as a recurring member. She will play Alice, a stylish art professional who gets sucked into the murder mystery.

Late last month, Andrea Martin and Zoe Colletti were announced for undetermined roles in the show’s second season.

When Will Season 2 Premiere?

On Monday, March 28, Martin revealed the release date for the series' 2nd season. Coupled with the trailer, Only Murders in The Building season 2 will debut on June 28 on Hulu. So, save the date!

Synopsis for the Next Season

The mysterious death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell) finds Charles, Oliver and Mabel in a race against time to uncover the murderer. Being the topic of discussion in a competing podcast, the trio has to question a whole group of neighbors suspected to have committed the murder.

The season's trailer is now available, having premiered two days ago. The comedy actor Nathan Lane appears in the video, clearly indicating that he reprises his role as Teddy Dimas. Amidst their unforeseen publicity, Short states that they had been warned not to speak out. Gomez concludes by saying, 'We will not be going quietly.'
