The incident was captured by Minaj herself in an Instagram Live video, which was later reposted by fans on social media. In the video, an Amsterdam official can be heard stating that he intends to take Minaj into custody for 'carrying drugs,' despite her assertions that she was not in possession of any illegal substances. The clip concludes with Minaj voluntarily entering a police van.
