The feud between Neşe Karaböcek and Gülden Karaböcek has etched itself into memory as one of the most enduring family fallouts in Turkey's history.

In 1964, Neşe Karaböcek, who married one of the significant record producers of the time, Atilla Alpsakarya, was experiencing a brilliant period in both her music career and personal life. The couple welcomed a son into the world from this marriage, whom they named Alper.

However, the marriage, which lasted for about a decade, ended in divorce in 1974.

The real major rupture occurred shortly after the divorce.

Atilla Alpsakarya, this time, married Neşe Karaböcek's younger sister, Gülden Karaböcek. This marriage, which caused a great stir at the time, not only shook the tabloid agenda but also deeply affected the entire family.

Neşe Karaböcek saw what happened as the greatest betrayal of her life. On the other hand, Gülden Karaböcek defended in her statements years later that this was not a love marriage, but a decision made out of desperation.

From that day forward, the two sisters never reconciled.

In her autobiography, İşte Benim Masalım (Here is My Story), published a few months ago, Neşe Karaböcek detailed what happened and expressed that her resentment still continues with the words 'I will never forgive her until the grave'.

Following a major family crisis, Neşe Karaböcek united her life with Tevfik Yener, a journalist, author and painter, in 1975.

Following a major family crisis, Neşe Karaböcek united her life with Tevfik Yener, a journalist, author and painter, in 1975.

The marriage of the duo lasted a remarkable 51 years.

In numerous interviews over the years, Karaböcek often recounted how Tevfik Yener was her greatest pillar of support during her toughest times, and she considered the peaceful family they built together as one of the most precious achievements of her life.

From this marriage, a son named Hasan Ali Yener was born.

One of the greatest sorrows in Neşe Karaböcek's life, however, was the loss of her children.

Her first son, Alper Alpsakarya, who was born from her marriage to Atilla Alpsakarya, tragically lost his life in 2008 due to heart failure.

Before the scars of this loss could heal, another devastating blow struck in 2019.

Hasan Ali Yener, who was born from her marriage to Tevfik Yener, suddenly passed away at the age of 44 on Father's Day. It was reported that Hasan Ali Yener lost his life due to a heart attack or stroke after fainting upon exiting the bathroom.

Neşe Karaböcek, who had to bury both sons from two different marriages, silently bore this pain for many years.

It was learned that veteran journalist and author Tevfik Yener had been receiving treatment for a kidney ailment for some time.

Following a deterioration in his health, Yener was admitted to intensive care and sadly passed away at the age of 88 on the morning of June 25 due to multiple organ failure.

It was announced that his funeral would be held on Saturday, June 27, at the Beylikdüzü Ebubekir Mosque, following the afternoon prayer, and he would be laid to rest at the Büyükçekmece Çakmaklı Cemetery.

Thus, Neşe Karaböcek was forced to say goodbye to her husband, with whom she had walked shoulder to shoulder for more than half a century.

Despite a music career marked by countless successes and dozens of unforgettable songs, Neşe Karaböcek's personal life has been marked by a series of tragedies over the years.
