My Little Pony: The Movie Now Streaming on Hulu

Treat your little ones this weekend to the musical animation film, My Little Pony: The Movie that joined Hulu's movie listing on Saturday, March 19.

The film is an adaption of the cartoon series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic that has been airing for nine seasons so far since 2010. The cartoon characters are so well defined with sharp color contrasts you can’t help but watch along with your kids.

My Little Pony centres on a group of pony friends, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash who fight dark forces in Ponyville, where their powers are reinforced by their undying friendship. 

The 2017 movie adaptation features the crew meeting new friends and encountering exciting challenges as they journey beyond Equestria to fight the evil Storm King and his servant unicorn-Tempest Shadow.

My Little Pony: The Movie made its debut on October 6 2017 and grossed $61.3 million globally on a budget of $ 6.5 million. It rates at 62% on IMDb, 47% on the Rotten Tomatoes scale and 39% on Metacritic where 84% of viewers liked its plot.

The animation movie features a well-known cast of songbirds and favorite stars, including Emily Blunt voicing Tempest Shadow, Kristin Chenoweth as Princess Skystar, Live Schreiber as The Storm King, Michael Peña as Grubber, Uzo Aduba as Queen Novo, Ashleigh Ball as Applejack and Rainbow Dash, Andrea Libman as Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, Michelle Greber as Applebloom, Taye Diggs as Capper, Brian Dobson as Verko, Britt McKillip as Princess Cadance, Nicole Oliver as Princess Celestia and Zoe Saldana as Captain Celaeno.
