Lil Yachty has released a music video for his viral hit single titled ‘Poland’ on Wednesday.

The rapper, also known as ‘Lil Boat,’ dropped the video at midnight following the song’s incredible popularity on streaming services online.

The song features an iconic hook that goes, “I took the wok, to Poland,” in a catchy melody that only Yachty could produce in his trademark autotuned delivery.

The artist announced he would release the video on Twitter hours before it was unveiled, and it has amassed over two and a half million views on YouTube since then.

Funnily enough, the video sees Yachty literally taking a walk in a city that looks like its in the USA, likely New York, while also performing for the camera with his raps.

The hit song has become so popular that allegedly, the Prime minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, has invited the artist to visit the country.

Lil Yachty usually drops a mixtape, titled ‘Birthday Mix,’ of songs every year on his birthday in August but failed to do so this year, fuelling speculation that a new album is on the way from the hip-hop star.

The artist tweeted on his birthday, August 23rd, to further fuel the speculation.

“First year with no birthday mix, something special is coming, thanks for the wishes, Love y’all 4ever c u soon,” Lil Yachty tweeted.

Yachty has already y released one single this year, titled ‘Humble,’ alongside dance musician and DJ, Diplo, in April.

He has also made a guest appearance on “Slime Them,” by Fivio Foreign on their B.I.B.L.E project.

The artist from Mableton, Georgia, first burst on the scene with his catchy hit single ‘Minnesota,’ from his ‘Lil Boat’ mixtape released in 2016.

The rapper followed that success up with his debut album ‘Teenage Emotions,’ released in 2017.

‘Lil boat 2’ was released in March 218 and has been the artist’s most celebrated project to date, rising as high as second in the US charts.

He released ‘Nuthin’ 2 Prove,’ in 2018 and his last studio album was produced in 2020, titled ‘Lil Boat 3.’

Fans of the rapper have been eager for the hip-hop star to release new music so today’s video drop may be a good sign for them.
