In particular, transporting pets on two-wheeled vehicles like motorcycles in heavy traffic requires utmost caution and extra safety measures. A slight negligence or carelessness can instantly jeopardize the safety of both our adorable companions and other drivers on the road.
The unfortunate moments experienced by a female driver, who wanted to take her cat to the vet with a carrier tied to the back of her motorcycle, were captured on camera in real-time. A potential disaster was narrowly averted when the carrier opened while in motion. Thankfully, the worst-case scenario was avoided.

When plastic carry boxes are attached to motorcycle saddles, their locks can loosen or securing bands can slip due to vibration. As seen in shared moments, even if the box is thought to be locked, the jolts in traffic can pose a threat to the locks. The tabby cat, shocked by fear when the box opened, luckily escaped the danger, while the quick response of conscientious people averted a potential disaster.
Instead of standard travel boxes, when transporting pets by vehicle or motorcycle, carry bags with extra safety locks, ventilation, and special fittings bolted to the motor chassis should definitely be preferred. If possible, creatures like cats that easily get stressed should be transported in enclosed spaces like public transportation or cars.
