GTA 6 Leaks: Sibling Protagonists?

There’s a rumor that has been circling around the whole Grand Theft Auto community, that the next GTA game will feature protagonists that are siblings. In GTA 5, you could play as three different characters: Franklin, Michael, and Trevor, who were all completely unrelated to one another. 

GTA 5 is by far the most unique of all the GTA games Rockstar has released. Most of them only allowed you to play as one character, with the exception of GTA 4, which allowed you to play as three characters but only one at a time via separate downloadable content (DLC).

According to a tweet by user Matheusvictorbr, the main protagonists of GTA 6 will be a brother and sister duo. This could be the first GTA game with playable sibling protagonists. See the post below.

“Recently I received Information about the next entry in the GTA Series. The idea that Rockstar Games proposed was the story of 2 brothers - 1 male and 1 female - who separated after their parents were killed, in the Prologue in 2003.”

This could potentially lead to a link between GTA 5 and GTA 6, as the prologue was set in 2003, a year before the prologue of GTA 5.

These leaks are big news for the entire community, even if the translation was inaccurate since translating from Portuguese to English is difficult. The key words '1 male and 1 female' are enough to persuade fans that the game's protagonists will be siblings.
