Prominent global investment banks have shared their latest predictions regarding gold prices. These world giants have made 'record' forecasts for gold. Sucden Financial and Standard Chartered have announced the date when they expect gold to reach its peak.

A new report has emerged from the world's giant investment banks concerning gold prices. In its analysis, Standard Chartered projected that the upward momentum in gold prices would continue to increase in the medium and long term. Experts, who suggest that the price of an ounce of gold could climb up to $5,000 in the long run, are drawing attention to the possibility that the repercussions in the domestic market could be significantly harsher. According to calculations, if the current trend of the dollar/TL exchange rate persists, the price of gold per gram could escalate to a range between 7,500 and 7,600 lira.
A definitive date has been given for the rise of gold.
It is anticipated that the average price of gold per ounce will stabilize around $4,200 in the third quarter of 2026. By the end of the year, this upward trend is predicted to gain momentum, reaching an average of $4,650. Currently, gold per ounce is trading at $4,051, while the price per gram stands at 6,202 Turkish lira in the markets.
Sucden Financial, on the other hand, has released a figure of $3,950 to $4,300 for gold per ounce. According to this leading global institution, the record high in gold prices is expected to be achieved in September 2026.
