Four TV Shows Launch At Once: Which One Made the Biggest Splash?
With the conclusion of the 20252026 season, a long hiatus was broken as four series launched their broadcasts this summer. Amid the anticipation for summer series, which among The Law of Nature, Still 17, Probable Love, and Upside Down Istanbul, all of which found success, managed to secure the highest ratings with its first episode?
Due to the crisis in the television series industry, we had been longing for summer series for a considerable amount of time.
Even if a single series managed to launch during the vast summer season, it would end prematurely, preventing successful productions like 'Kiralık Aşk', 'Kiraz Mevsimi', and 'Güneşin Kızları' from emerging and they would exit the scene. However, after a prolonged hiatus, this year marked the first time that four series simultaneously debuted as summer shows. What's more, despite the World Cup matches, they managed to garner quite respectable ratings.
At the tender age of 17, the series "Just Istanbul", "Potential Love", and "Law of Nature" have stepped in to fill the void of summer series.
There has been considerable curiosity about which of these four series, each making headlines with their unique stories and thrilling scenarios, had the best debut.
'Daha 17' managed to garner ratings of 3.19 in total, 2.17 in AB, and 3.02 in ABC1 in its first episode.
'Altı Üstü Istanbul' topped the charts in every category, achieving ratings of 4.45 in total, 3.30 in AB, and 4.29 in ABC1.
'Doğanın Kanunu' received ratings of 2.46 in total, 2.06 in AB, and 2.52 in ABC1, while 'Muhtemel Aşk' scored 2.88 in total, 2.38 in AB, and 2.99 in ABC1.
While 'Altı Üstü Istanbul' had the best debut, 'Daha 17' showed a significant increase in later episodes, almost reaching a rating of 8. 'Doğanın Kanunu' also approached a rating of 5. As for 'Altı Üstü Istanbul' and 'Muhtemel Aşk', only their first episodes have been aired so far. It remains to be seen whether they too will experience an upward trend.
