The film follows the 10-year relationship between Michelin-starred chef Almut, played by Pugh, and Tobias, portrayed by Garfield.
Recently, Florence Pugh, the star of the film, spoke to Vogue and revealed the trauma she experienced due to her role in the film.
The 28-year-old Florence Pugh explained the difficulty she faced after shaving her head for the role, stating:
'In many religions, hair is considered the most important part of the body because it's where we store our memories, dreams, and history. I shaved my head for this role, and it was honestly such a strange experience. While my scalp was so sensitive, people kept trying to touch my head. My body went through a kind of trauma because of it—it always felt cold.'
In the movie We Live in Time, Pugh’s hair is cut by Andrew Garfield.
