Emin Alper's fascination with cinema was ignited when he watched Emir Kusturica's film 'Time of the Gypsies' at the age of 18. This experience marked the beginning of his journey into the world of filmmaking. While studying at Boğaziçi University, Alper engaged in screenplay experiments and joined the university's cinema club.
